For those not in the know, Troegs is a craft brewery based in Pennsylvania that makes many good beers, but this one is probably their most popular. Nugget Nectar is described by the brewery as an "Imperial Amber Ale". Basically it's an amber ale with the hops quotient increased several notches. If you like Pale Ales or IPAs (India Pale Ales), this beer will be too your liking without tasting quite like those two styles.
