We've Invented a new Hummus

Well, sort of. We decided to make a new hummus as a complement to our classic hummus. Instead of using the same old stuff you see in grocery stores, we wanted to add something different. So, we are proud to introduce kybecca peppadew hummus. This is our classic hummus (which we make ourselves, by the way) blended with peppadew, a proprietary brand of sweet and spicy piquante pepper from South Africa that is pickled and prepared in a particular way. After making a prototype batch and getting the tasting approval from Kyle and Rebecca, we made a big batch and it's now on the shelves. We promise it's unlike any hummus you've ever had before.

What is hummus anyway? If you've never had it before, it's basically a dip made from chickpeas, garlic, lemon juice, and tahini (sesame seed paste), plus other ingredients depending on how you make it. It's common throughout the Middle East. In fact, just about every Middle Eastern country claims to have invented it. The truth is that nobody knows its exact origin. Chickpeas were one of the first plants cultivated in Mesopotamia and hummus has been around for hundreds if not thousands of years. We love it because it's filling and healthy.

As a side note, we also just started selling a bean dip made from white beans, onions, parsley, spices, and a bunch of other goodies. We don't make this one, but trust us when we say it's good.
